This page includes the application materials that must be completed in order to submit an application for the Department’s multifamily (rental) housing funding sources. The Department provides funds for the acquisition and construction of affordable rental housing under the following programs:
- Housing Tax Credits
- Tax Exempt Bonds
- HOME Investment Partnership Program
- Neighborhood Stabilization Program
The application files are provided in three possible file formats. (DOC) files were created with Microsoft Word for Windows, (XLS) files were created with Microsoft Excel for Windows, and (PDF) files were created with Adobe Acrobat. For the Application Section use files saved in (DOC) and (XLS) file formats when filling out the application. Files saved in (PDF) file format are for standard reference.

2013 HOME Program Supplemental Information
HOME provides funding in the form of low interest loans for the acquisition, construction, and rehabilitation of affordable rental housing. Generally, the HOME Program makes funding available through Notices of Funding Availability (NOFAs). Applicants are encouraged to review the HOME section of the website for more information regarding program specific requirements and funding availability. Below is some basic information to aid in completing an application for HOME funds.
