TDHCA celebrates final phase of South Dallas housing development
Highpoint at Wynnewood, a 220-unit property in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas, has officially opened its doors to working class families. Of the 220 units, 35 are designated for those families earning 30 percent or less of the Area Median Income (AMI) with the remaining 185 units restricted to households earning 60 percent or less of AMI. Situated just minutes from downtown Dallas, Highpoint is flanked by its earlier established sister properties, Highpoint Family Living and Highpoint Senior Living. The properties are near popular destinations such as The Dallas Zoo, the Bishop Arts District, and Dallas’ Central Business District. The income-restricted property, at 1805 South Zang Boulevard, is a 2022 4% Housing Tax Credit recipient, receiving nearly $2.4 million in tax credits and worth an approximate value of $24 million over the 10-year term.
