TDHCA announces a rule action relating to 10 TAC Chapter 8, Project Rental Assistance Program Rule, Section 8.6, Program Regulations and Requirements, that was approved by the TDHCA Governing Board on June 13, 2024. This rule will be released for public comment and returned to the Board for final adoption. The rule, including its preamble, is expected to be published in the Texas Register edition dated June 28, 2024, and that published version will constitute the official version for purposes of public comment and can be found at the following link: https://www.sos.texas.gov/texreg/index.shtml.

 As it relates to Department programs, Chapter 8 governs the Section 811 PRA Program. Revisions have been made to the inspection standard being used and in subsection (g)(2) relating to Tenant Selection Plans.
